Excavator Hydraulic Service

Atlas delivers on-site hydraulic service for excavators, from compact to large-scale quarry machines. Common jobs include diagnosing failed hydraulic pumps, repairing control valve block leaks, replacing or crimping new high-pressure hoses (SAE, JIC, metric JIS), and resealing cylinders with custom or OEM seal kits. Field diagnostics use pressure gauges at work and pilot circuits, flow meters at key distribution points, and infrared thermometers for heat-checking relief valves or suspect pumps./ Hydraulic issues present as slow boom or arm response, excessive heat in fluid, erratic movement, pump cavitation, external fluid leaks, or actuator drift. Causes range from pitted cylinder rods, worn piston seals, split hoses, or contaminated fluid. Adam fabricates hoses on-site to OEM spec, purges systems after line failure, and performs pressure adjustments on main relief valves. Cylinder rod chrome loss and scored barrels are rebuilt or replaced in the field if safe. Preventing downtime means catching pinhole leaks and bypass before catastrophic failure of swing motors, travel motors, or pump shafts./ Atlas services all brands—CAT, Deere, Komatsu, Kobelco, Volvo, Kubota, and Chinese imports. For Tier 4 excavators, Adam checks solenoid and pilot circuit integrity. For older iron, he inspects wear in pump couplers and manual valve linkages. Equipment is returned to spec pressure and movement parameters before job sign-off.
