Mini-Excavator Hydraulic Repair

Mini-excavator hydraulic systems consist of a central pump (gear, vane, or piston type), valve blocks, lines, cylinders, and return filters. Failures range from rod-end seal leaks and burst hoses to control valve spool sticking and pump cavitation. Hydraulic leaks are often visible as wet spots or dripping fluid under the boom, bucket, or swing assembly. Loss of function in a circuit is diagnosed by checking line pressure, system relief settings, and cylinder travel.
