Aerial lifts rely on low-voltage electrical systems for lift control, drive functions, and safety interlocks. Typical scissor lift and boom lift platforms use 12V or 24V DC, often powered by multiple deep-cycle batteries with solid-state controllers and multi-position limit switches.
